About the release

Red EP is a five-song release by Dialect, an Arlington, Virginia band formed in 2007 by Nathan Graham, Michael Graziano, Damien Stanton, and Esteban Amas.

The release sits across alternative rock, indie, alt-country, and progressive influences. It belongs here because making is not limited to hardware and software; it also includes songs, performances, and records.

Collaboration and production

The songs were written and produced by Dialect. Ken Schubert and Esteban Amas engineered and recorded the EP, and Esteban Amas mixed and mastered it.

Music extends the same collaborative practice visible elsewhere in the archive: ideas become real through shared work, technical craft, iteration, and publication.
